APS is an English medium institution, running classes from Kinder garden to XII for students(both girls & boys). It is located on the Grand Trunk (GT) Road, beside the town of Sarai Alamgir. The campus is spread over a good area and affords sufficient open space for lawns,play ground, library,classes,cafeteria,staff room & assembly hall.

History
Created mainly for the purposes of educating the children of Army personnel, the branches of the school are located in cities where there is an Army Base. As the school is governed by the Pakistani Army, emphasis is placed on discipline and respect towards teachers and upperclassmen.
Uniform
Charcoal grey slacks, black oxford-style shoes, a green blazer and a white dress shirt. For girls, a white shalwar qamez, a scarf, (also white with a green border). The school logo and motto are portrayed on a badge for students to wear. Socks or stockings are White for girls and Black for boys.

However, as the national language of Pakistan is Urdu and the country's laws are based on Islamic beliefs, Urdu literature and grammar, Islamic Studies and are part of the school's system.
