Chandka Medical College-SMBBMU - Larkana Lines 6.07

CMC including students of tagged districts Larkana, Qamber Shahdadkot District, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kashmor and Naushahro Feroze get admission. It also provide post graduate training to doctors. It provide tertiary medical care facilities to upper sindh and half of Balouchistan population and Medical education for the students of Larkaka division. It is one of the constituent colleges of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University[3] (SMBBU) Larkana of the Sindh province in Pakistan. The school has a large and experienced faculty to support its mission of education, research, and clinical care. Faculty members hold appointments in the basic science departments and in the clinical departments located CMC Teaching Hospital as well as other offices in Larkana. There are approximately 75 full-time faculty members consisting of assistant, associate, and full professors at CMC Larkana.
CMC has since grown to a full-fledged medical university. The new name of CMC is now "Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University" after the name of slain Benazir Bhutto who remained twice the Prime Minister of Pakistan .[5] Prof. Surgeon Dr. Sikandar Ali Sheikh became his first Vice chancellor on 9 July 2009.
